Please join us in welcoming Kiley Ritt, Koinonia’s new Behavioral Health Service and Support Manager!

In this new role, Kiley will work with the Behavioral Health Services team to develop and ensure proper implementation of behavior support strategies, utilizing ethical, proactive, person-centered approaches. This includes developing structural and functional assessments of behavior through interviews with staff and individuals, as well as proposing and developing prevention and intervention strategies and evaluating the effectiveness. Overall, Kiley will work to implement behavioral health strategies that promote optimal growth for the individuals served, are based on a person-centered philosophy, and enhance the individuals’ quality of life.

Kiley joins Koinonia from the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities, where he was an SSA Supervisor. During his time with the Lake County Board of DD, he developed a dual diagnosis program to better serve individuals with both a developmental/intellectual disability and some form of mental illness. Kiley began his work in the IDD field in college, working as a DSP in an ICF home before working in a school system for individuals with disabilities.

Kiley is a trauma-informed care trainer in the state of Ohio, and a licensed professional counselor and a dual diagnosis specialist through the National Association for the Dually Diagnosed. He holds an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University and a BA in Psychology and Social Sciences from Lake Erie College.
