Direct Support Professional Theodore Lindsey is a 2022 Peter Nebenzahl Champions Award Winner! According to his nomination:
“Theo is compassionate, caring, and patient when it comes to serving individuals. He goes above expectations when it comes to doing his job. He always takes into consideration what the guys at home like, he takes them on outings in the community, makes specially requested desserts that they will ask for him to make, always remembers what each of the specifically likes from the store and will go out of his way to get it for them. The guys look up to Theo and look at him as their mentor and go-to person. Theo is always flexible and will alter or pick up shifts in order to fit the needs of the home. Whenever we are in any type of crisis the 1st person, we call is Theo and the 1st words out of his mouth are always;
‘What do you want me to do or where do you need me to be?’ He never hesitates to help out with appointments, shopping, activities, barbecues, personal shopping, or even yard work. His detail in written communications and documentation is phenomenal. I could go on and on about all that he has done and continues to do especially in the last year, but I would be telling stories forever.
There’s absolutely no one more deserving of this award and he deserves recognition for all that he does..”
Thank you Theo for living our mission and helping the people we serve live their best life!
