Koinonia Homes, Inc. is sponsoring a fundraising raffle, “New Orleans French Quarter Getaway.” All raffle proceeds will go to Koinonia Homes to support and enhance the quality of life for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
The prize awarded to the winning raffle ticket will be an 8-day/7-night stay at the Bluegreen Club La Pension villas on Decatur Street in New Orleans, LA August 18 – 25, 2019.
Raffle tickets are $50 each. 200 tickets will be printed. The changes of winning are based upon the actual number of raffle tickets sold.
Raffle tickets may be purchased:
- In person at Koinonia Homes at 6161 Oak Tree Blvd., Suite 400 Independence, Ohio 44131 beginning May 17, 2019 during regular business hours.
- Via internet purchase at http://www.khraffle.org from May 17, 2019 until July 31, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
- Via mail with inclusion of $50 ticket fee. Ticket request must include name, address, phone number, and email address and be mailed to Cheryl Senko, Director of Communications and Development, Koinonia Homes, Inc. 6161 Oak Tree Blvd., Suite 400 Independence, Ohio 44131. Mail submissions are due by July 26, 2019 <5 days prior to raffle closing date>.

Each raffle ticket has a separate and equal chance of winning. Up to ten tickets may be purchased per day. All tickets must be purchased by 5:00 p.m. on July 31, 2019. A winner will be selected at random on, or before, August 1, 2019. Winners will be contacted by phone and need not be present to win and be awarded prizes.
No Purchase Necessary. Open to all US residents 18 years and older. Must have valid ID to win the prize. Hotel check-in requires a minimum age of 23.
Employees of Koinonia Homes, Inc. are eligible to participate. Employees must have accrued sufficient paid time off (PTO) to take time off of work from August 18-25, 2019.
Claimant is responsible for all international and personal taxes, fees, and associated incidental costs beyond lodging (and rental car). Flight, ground transportation, meals, entertainment, incidental charges and personal purchases during the trip are recipient’s responsibility. Valet parking is available for a daily rate of $35/day. No parking garage located onsite. Bluegreen Club La Pension is a cashless resort. Upon check-in, the prize winner must provide a credit card for a $100 hold fee. Any room charges would be put toward this credit card. Cash is accepted at the resort’s restaurant and general store. Bluegreen Club La Pension is a non-smoking facility and is subject to a fine of up to $300. No pets allowed.
