Koinonia Homes, Inc. is sponsoring a fundraising raffle, “Virginia Great Outdoors Getaway Raffle.” All raffle proceeds will go to Koinonia Homes to support and enhance the quality of life for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

The prize awarded to the winning raffle ticket will be an 8-day/7-night stay at the Bluegreen Club Shenandoah Crossing located in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley along with a $500 VISA Gift Card. The vacation prize must be used on specific dates – April 25th – May 2nd, 2020. There is no date substituion. The winner of the raffle may choose to keep the VISA Gift Card and give the vacation prize away to someone else.

Raffle tickets are $50 each. 200 tickets will be printed. The changes of winning are based upon the actual number of raffle tickets sold.

Raffle tickets may be purchased:

  • In person at Koinonia Homes at 6161 Oak Tree Blvd., Suite 400 Independence, Ohio 44131 beginning May 17, 2019 during regular business hours.
  • Via internet purchase at http://www.khraffle.org from October 29th, 2019 to January 14th 2020 at midnight, EDT.
  • Via mail with inclusion of $50 ticket fee. Ticket request must include name, address, phone number, and email address and be mailed to Cheryl Senko, Director of Communications and Development, Koinonia Homes, Inc. 6161 Oak Tree Blvd., Suite 400 Independence, Ohio 44131. Mail submissions are due by January 10th, 2020 <5 days prior to raffle closing date>.

Each raffle ticket has a separate and equal chance of winning. Up to ten tickets may be purchased per day. All tickets must be purchased by midnight. on January 14th, 2020. A winner will be selected at random on, or before, January 15, 2020. Winners will be contacted by phone and need not be present to win and be awarded prizes.

No Purchase Necessary. Open to all US residents 18 years and older. Must have valid ID to win the prize. Hotel check-in requires a minimum age of 23.

Employees of Koinonia Homes, Inc. are eligible to participate. Employees must have accrued sufficient paid time off (PTO) to take time off of work from April 25th 2020 – May 2nd 2020.

Claimant is responsible for all international and personal taxes, fees, and associated incidental costs beyond lodging. Flight, ground transportation, meals, entertainment, incidental charges and personal purchases during the trip are recipient’s responsibility. Shenandoah Crossing is a cashless resort. Upon check-in, the prize winner must provide a credit card for a $100 hold fee. Any room charges would be put toward this credit card. Cash is accepted at the resort’s restaurant and general store. No pets allowed.
