“I’m passionate about providing holistic care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and bringing the IDD community to the forefront of population health concerns. A large part of my role is to understand what is happening globally in healthcare, how that affects individuals with IDD, and how we can effectively advocate for them and remove any disparities.”
Through her role as Chief Clinical and Program Officer, Jeanne Greene oversees all aspects of Koinonia’s intake, shared living, adult day services, employment services, behavioral support, transportation, and nursing. She also works closely with other members of the organization’s leadership to continue expanding Koinonia’s health services, and to strategically adjust the organization’s service model to meet the needs of prospective and existing clients.
Jeanne focuses much of her role on incorporating preventative and proactive care, behavioral and holistic health, and trauma-informed care for the clients of Koinonia. As a result, she ensures that Koinonia’s mission of providing whole-person care is applied through each program.
Prior to joining Koinonia, Jeanne was an executive with Signature Health. She has also served as Director of Nursing at the Cleveland Clinic, and as an operations engineer and nursing manager at University Hospitals.
Jeanne holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice, a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and an Associate Degree in Nursing. She is also Nurse Executive-Board Certified. She also recently received the SHRM People Manager Qualified certification. In her spare time she volunteers with Torchlight Youth Mentoring Alliance where she mentors young pre-teen girls.
