OPRA (Ohio Provider Resource Association) is a leader on issues of concern to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and is comprised of 177 provider organizations, both for-profit and nonprofit, that provide services to more than 45,000 Ohioans with IDD. OPRA advises legislators, regulators, and funders on developing a system where it is possible for OPRA’s member organizations and their employees to grow and thrive in their pursuit of a human service mission. Additionally, OPRA strives to support its members in their commitment to sound, innovative business practices and quality service standards.

Internally, the association’s board, committees, and staff work together to pursue solutions to issues of strategic importance to its members. OPRA also provides support to its members through a wide variety of training opportunities that will help them implement best practices and develop their employees as future leaders of the system.

Koinonia President & CEO Diane Beastrom serves as Vice-Chairperson on the OPRA Board of Directors.
