
Please join us in welcoming Jimmy Frankino, Koinonia’s new Director of Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF)!
In his role, Jimmy will handle day-to-day operations, management, and oversight of the agency’s ICF homes. He will also oversee the operation of all aspects of the program, services, and supports provided by the residential staff as well as all program service consultants.
Jimmy has substantial experience in the field of nursing, beginning his career as a delegated nurse then a residential manager for an ICF while in school at Kent State University. He then served as a case manager and service and supporter administrator at the Geauga County Board of Developmental Disabilities before pursing his LPN and RN licenses. Jimmy has also worked as a Director of Nursing at Applewood Centers, Director of Residential and Health Services at New Avenues to Independence, and Evening Behavioral Health Manager at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center.
Jimmy holds a BA in Sociology from Kent State University, LPN from North Coast Medical Academy, and RN from Cuyahoga County Community College. He is actively pursuing a secondary degree in nursing at Ohio University. Jimmy will report to Koinonia’s Chief Clinical and Program Officer Jeanne Greene.
