Senior Services is designed to enhance and sustain the level of mental and physical health required to live life fully during retirement. It provides a group setting that supports independence and productivity as well as support strategies when needed.
Each individual’s needs and interests guide the life enrichment activities we plan and the opportunities we offer. Some of these include; exercise and healthy living programs, experiential learning, music therapy, and art therapy. We also get involved in our community through outings and volunteer opportunities.
A full, enriching life extends beyond the home. Koinonia nurtures personal development through Adult Day Services (ADS), held at Koinonia Enterprises’ location at 1200 Resource Drive in Brooklyn Heights, OH. Individuals achieve fulfilling and enriching lives by connecting to the community through a variety of nostalgic, recreational, and community integration opportunities.

Learning, Connecting, and Working are Koinonia Enterprises’ guideposts for success. Each individual’s access to meaningful employment is community-based and competitive, meaning that each person earns at least minimum wage and works in an integrated setting. Success starts with a careful assessment of each person’s job skills and strengths to be on their path to employment.
