Koinonia is pleased to announce that we have named Julie Wagner as Chief People Officer, Human Resources effective January 11, 2018. Ms. Wagner is replacing Mary Miles who is retiring from Koinonia. Ms. Wagner will focus on talent acquisition and strategic workforce planning for the future growth, transformation, and evolution of Koinonia. She will report directly to President and CEO Diane Beastrom.
Ms. Wagner comes to us from Hattie Larlham, where she spent 17 years in several HR management roles, including Director of Human Resources and Vice President of Human Resources. She was responsible for all HR functions for the organization which included 1300 employees located within multiple service locations throughout Northeast and Central Ohio. Her successes include providing governance and direction for all people-related departmental activities across the organization such as organizational learning, developing and overseeing recruitment, retention, and employee recognition programs. She also initiated the innovative “Building Bridges out of Poverty” management training program, in collaboration with Summit County United Way.

Ms. Wagner earned a BS in Management and Personnel from Akron University and achieved SHRM-SCP Senior Certified Professional status in 2015. Please join us in welcoming Julie to Koinonia!
