Jobs open doors—to community participation, confidence and financial independence. We offer individuals the pathway to meaningful employment through Individualized career planning designed specifically for each person.

Learning, connecting and working are Koinonia Enterprises’ guideposts for success. Each individual’s access to meaningful employment is community-based and competitive, meaning that each person earns at least minimum wage and works in an integrated setting. Success starts with a careful assessment of each person’s job skills and strengths as they navigate through their own personal path to employment.

Koinonia Enterprises offers individuals career services that include a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on the individual’s path to employment from self-discovery of skills and talents to career exploration to future career advancements. We serve as a member on the individual’s team with family, county board representatives, advocates, vocational counselors or others as identified by the individual
Through business connections, networking and focused job searches, Koinonia Enterprises’ Career Service team members help individuals find meaningful employment in a wide variety of fields. Our approach starts with person-centered planning, where we tailor our services to meet the specific needs and interests of the individual, and ends with competitive employment. Throughout the process, we emphasize individual and family engagement, skill building, and the individual’s initiative to be an active part of the job search.
