Koinonia is a 501(c)(3) organization. For nearly 50 years, Koinonia has been providing services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and other complex conditions. Of our roughly 600 clients, 65% of the people we care for have co-existing medical conditions, and 85% have a mental health diagnosis in addition to an intellectual or developmental disability.
Addressing their complex medical needs in a whole-person, integrated setting can significantly improve their quality of life. With the help of our donors, we are able to utilize the best tools and resources to enable our clients to achieve their goals.
