Please donate to our Frontline Caregiver Fund and help Koinonia navigate the COVID-19 Pandemic

The novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19, is creating an evolving situation with varied impacts around the world and across the states. In Ohio, we are seeing first hand the effects of COVID-19 as it continues to spread all across Ohio. Our DSP’s, frontline staff, and those who work in their support have stepped up and rallied together so that the people who count on us are cared for, healthy, and safe. We recognize that the current COVID-19 pandemic may result in financial challenges for our Frontline Caregivers. With your help, we can provide assistance to our Frontline Caregivers who experience a financial emergency during the COVID-19 crisis with our Frontline Caregiver Support Fund. Your support via monetary donations will be even more critical in the weeks ahead as we reach the surge of this pandemic. If you are able, please consider a contribution to our Frontline Caregiver Support Fund. On behalf of our board, staff, and the individuals we serve, we want to thank you in advance for your contribution. We are grateful for your help and support during this time.

We’ve created a special COVID-19 Amazon Wish List with supplies and activities we need during this crisis. Please help us if you are able.Koinonia COVID-19 Amazon Wish List

Over the past 45 years, the personal rights and quality of life for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) have progressively advanced. Nonetheless, our culture remains far from inclusive. A great number of people within the IDD community continue to endure stereotyping. Often living on the margins of society, many spend generations as unseen minorities, unemployed, disenfranchised and detached from basic human bonding that others take for granted.

Koinonia is Northeast Ohio’s leading agency dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of people with IDD. When you support our mission, you create a lifeline for true independence, health, meaningful employment, self-esteem, and appreciation.

When you make a gift to Koinonia, you’ll join us in our mission to partner with people who have developmental disabilities to achieve a healthy, fulfilling, and enriched life. As a valued member of our community, you will receive occasional eNews and updates about Koinonia’s programs and events. You may unsubscribe at any time.
