The Koinonia community honored Black History Month with a Black Lives Matter Art Gallery on Saturday, Feb. 20. The gallery was coordinated by Creative Arts Coordinator Stephen Dargaj, who creatively utilized the space at our Adult Day Center to showcase his custom pieces, including an interactive art project featuring an image of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Visitors were able to view the gallery during their designated timeslot, ensuring a socially distant and safe experience. The space was also thoroughly sanitized and cleaned after each viewing.
The interactive group painting will be available for auction to benefit other initiatives hosted by Koinonia Enterprises. More details to follow.
