The Michael and Helen Talty Charitable Trust has been a long-time supporter of Koinonia. They were supporters of our Compass Pathfinder Program (formerly ASPIRE), which assists youth in gaining their independence, self-confidence, and self-esteem at a young age and gives them the chance to become a part of their community. The Compass Pathfinder Program is designed to increase the rate that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities graduate from high school by age 18, and help students transition into independent, community-based, healthy lifestyles upon graduation. The trust also funded our Nursing Care Coordination, which was critical during the COVID-19 pandemic.
