Cleveland Foundation

In 2019, The Cleveland Foundation granted Koinonia $50,000 to fund our Direct Service Providers (DSPs) study. This was a comprehensive study of turnover and retention within our DSPs that provided valuable insight on improving our ability to attract, develop, and retain vital talent on a sustainable level.

The Cleveland Foundation also granted us $50,000 in support of our initiative of becoming a Trauma-Informed Care organization. This grant allowed us to conduct our baseline assessment that was vital in creating our trauma-informed organizational strategy.

Additionally, we are grateful for the support of the Cleveland Foundation and Greater Cleveland COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund for their support during the COVID-19 pandemic. Koinonia was granted $50,000 to hire and train up to 100 additional DSPs, as well as $15,000 to purchase and install touchless faucets in our residential homes.
